ARCO Culture

This industry can demand long hours so it’s important that all of our associates take some time to have fun. Here are just a few examples of how we enjoy a healthy work-life balance.

Sabbatical Program

One of the most unique and rewarding perks of working at ARCO Design/Build Midwest is the Sabbatical Program. For every 5-years of employment you receive a 30-day sabbatical in addition to your vacation time for the year. The company also provides a travel stipend. This has opened the door for our employees to experience some once-in-a-lifetime trips.

Each year, we set a goal of volunteer hours/donations we would like to reach as a company. We dedicate our time to a range of philanthropic organizations, some of which include: Children’s Healthcare, Susan G. Komen, Lupus Foundation, Autism Speaks and Wounded Warriors. Within these organizations we participate in their annual events, as well as volunteer and host our own events. Giving back to the community is important to our team and we have fun participating and lending a hand where we can.

Team Building

One of our core values is to be positive, upbeat and most of all to have fun! We enjoy taking the time to engage in team building activities and outings. These activities can range from a friendly round of Ping-Pong in our office to an outing at a local sporting event. Whatever the activity may be we enjoy spending time together and view ARCO not only as a company but also as a second family.

Flat Bottom Creek

ARCO Design/Build Midwest has acquired a 62 acre ranch property in North Georgia. The property accommodates up to 60 guests with full amenities. Outside you can enjoy the fire pit and shooting areas, horseshoe pit, pond, hiking trails and more. The ranch is a place where employees are encouraged to bring clients/prospects, as well as utilize with family and friends on the weekends.
